An embassy is there to provide information, services and to offer shelter. This woman and others ignored the information being provided by the State Department to pursue their own agendas. They chose to stay. Again, a free society doesn't mean that the government has the right to abduct its citizens in another country. It asks, they declined. Imagine the inarticulate shrieking you'd be doing if military personnel held guns to their heads and ordered them to board airplanes and helicopters leaving the country.

The US had an embassy in Afghanistan
US embassies are supposed to help American citizens in said country
Biden purposefully lied to the whole world when he said the Afghan army could hold off the Taliban when his own intelligence told him a few months at best
Biden created an absolute clusterfuck by funneling EVERY fleeing person into one small airport in the largest city in the country
Biden said he would evacuate every American, he failed at that
Biden fucked up this withdrawal so bad that only fiction writers could have written something this absurd

I'm not defending Biden. Lol. I've already stated in here that this is mismanaged from the he start. Hell. He promised to get everyone out and didn't manage to live up to the promise. Thats entirely on his administration.
I just would think therea a bit of Personal responsibility in all of this
