Maybe 100% honesty instead of just 25% honesty would have helped? You know something like "The Afghan government will fall by the end of the year and no one will be around to protect you if you stay after we pull our military out of the country."

Not a bunch of statements such as "I have complete faith in the Aghan government! They have 300k well equiped and trained soldiers! More than most of our NATO allies!!!!"

He literally laughed and scoffed at the question about the Taliban taking over Afghanistan was inevitable. He had enough Intelligence to know that this would most likely happen rather quickly.. but decided to laugh at the silliness of the question.

If the Afghan government actually held on until the end of the year, like Biden thought, yes the roads/runways would have been clear as of now, a terrorist organization wouldn't have been in control right now etc etc. I think the world was shocked on how fast Taliban took over..

You really should take the time to listen to the Dan Carlin video I posted about the history of Afghanistan. It would help you understand the societal politics of the region and how puppet leaders end up with their heads being displayed in the public square.

It's rather fascinating how similar this withdraw is to the first time the UK was kicked out of Afghanistan 180 years ago. The Brits literally were made to abandon their weapons, told to leave and then massacred with their own weapons.

I would go as far as to argue that displaying the rainbow flag was a really stupid move.
