No, he admitted a few days ago that the intelligence said the Afghan government would fall by the end of the year, which is just a few months away.

Yes August 7th, they should have been telling people this long before the Taliban started taking over cities without much effort.

Honestly, that is more than enough time for US citizens to get out, especially when the state department is paying for it all

Yeah sure it's plenty of time if the roads were clear, the runways were clear, and there wasn't a terrorist organization in control of the country.

It's not like people were just sitting around waiting for a limo to pick them up. The roads were packed with cars and people trying to flee the country. The runways were also filled with people trying to fly the country. The airport is filled with people trying to fly the country. Biden decided to funnel everyone (Americans, foreign nationals, Afghans) to ONE airport in the most populated city in the entire country.

The State Department has been telling US Citizens since prior to March 2020 to leave Afghanistan immediately and has posted regular Level 4 warnings to Do Not Travel. That /any/ citizens are still there that aren't connected with the military is pure insanity.

Maybe 100% honesty instead of just 25% honesty would have helped? You know something like "The Afghan government will fall by the end of the year and no one will be around to protect you if you stay after we pull our military out of the country."

Not a bunch of statements such as "I have complete faith in the Aghan government! They have 300k well equiped and trained soldiers! More than most of our NATO allies!!!!"

So now that you know that those non-military Americans have known for a year and a half to leave Afghanistan you fall back on the same Biden mislead the public nonsense. Three Presidents all came before Biden, none seemed to know Afghanistan was going to fail, including your orange messiah who brokered the agreement that lead to the downfall of the Afghanistan government.

You truly need pull your head out of your Conservative ass and stop blaming everything on Biden, this was the hand he was dealt.

Without all of the facts that Biden knew about which was that the Afghan government was going to collapse shortly after our troops withdrew, which has been my argument from the very beginning that Biden should have told them that, so you can kindly knock off your strawman and deflection shit right now.

Honest question: just how low are you willing to go to defend the heartless ghoul currently occupying the White House?

If the Afghan government actually held on until the end of the year, like Biden thought, yes the roads/runways would have been clear as of now, a terrorist organization wouldn't have been in control right now etc etc. I think the world was shocked on how fast Taliban took over.

I think the Afghan government was feeding us bullshit information, we weren’t prepared for an immediate collapse. No one was. Should we have had a contingency plan in case something like this happened? Yeah, we should have.

But if we were telling people since March of 2020 to get the fuck out, that’s NOT on Biden, they had more than a year to leave and they chose to stay.
