Is it racist to require ID to get a bank account, buy a car, buy alcohol and so on? No. It's not racist to require it to vote. Especially when it's FREE. You can lie all you want and call it racist and voter suppression and that doesn't make it true. The only votes that voter ID laws suppress are illegal ones. Why are you supporting illegal votes?

There's a reason you didn't list any examples here.
Banning plastic straws because of a 9yr old's "research". A fish ladder in California costing millions to allow one fish species to use one particular steam when they also go to other streams. Holding up construction of a damn in Tennessee over the snail darter fish, the fish was found in many other locations after a short period of real research. Destroying logging in the Northwest US over spotted owls when further research found that the reason the owls were disappearing was another species of owl was moving in and killing them in their nests AND that they would indeed nest in new growth trees when said trees were in their habitat range. The current legal decision and laws around gas can spouts. EPA regulations on lead and other metal smelting that has resulted in no lead smelting in the US any longer, a strategic metal also in the end of firearms using bluing as a coating and the prevention of construction of any new oil refineries in the US in decades. Cash for Clunkers, a payoff to the UAW and grossly damaging to the used car part industry as well as poor Americans. Closing the construction of the XL pipeline over specious environmental concerns when the oil is currently being transported by train, a much more polluting, less efficient and dangerous method all because Warren Buffet owns the train company with the contract and donates heavily to the Democrats. The current "infrastructure" bill that is nothing more than a pork barrel payoff to Biden donors and Pelosi buddies.

This is the short list off the top of my head. Now go about your usual whining, discounting facts because you don't like them and somehow claiming that you won this argument despite making a single factual point. Ge to it, the clock is ticking and your post percentage needs boosting.

You didn't address anything I said, so it gets said back to you again: Cynically using a tactic to solve a non-existent "problem" because you know it'll have a small but favorable impact for your side on the disadvantaged -- knowingly and specifically at the expense of minority groups -- is patently racist. Your ignorance of how and why Republicans crafted voter suppression laws doesn't constitute a reasoned position. Neither does your inability or unwillingness to read.

Intellectual dishonesty on your part doesn't constitute a reasoned position.

If only you'd established your claim -- that "Democrats spent a century pushing massively expensive and destructive laws to fight problems that didn't exist."

Instead, you shat out a nonsensical rant against environmentalism -- no surprise there, you're a shit human being in every other circumstance, so why not another? Except you didn't establish either the "massive cost," mixed in with willful ignorance about the cost of not taking care of the planet, didn't establish how they're "destructive," various uses of fallacious reductive logic, and a slew of old-fashioned conspiracy theorizing nonsense. Spectacular, Rocktard.

So? Like Ashliana said, voter fraud hasn’t been a problem, and it still isn’t a problem now. There has been zero evidence of wide spread voter fraud. We didn’t have these voter ID required laws before and there was zero issue. But all of a sudden you are pushing these laws? Why are you making laws to solve a problem, that doesn’t even exist? Using the “All because it hasn’t been found, doesn’t mean it’s not happening.” excuse, just doesn’t cut it.

    What is widespread voter fraud?

You and the other nitwits spent 4 years yelling and screaming about an illegitimate election. We spent months after the Gore/bush election investigating "hanging chads".

Now suddenly, there's no voter fraud.

    Just stop with the hypocrisy.

Now please explain how requiring an ID to vote is racist?

Um, no. Trump and his campaign actively solicited and welcomed the help of foreign nations, and his campaign knowingly passed information to Russian agents. You pretending that that somehow equals "voter fraud" or would be impacted by voter ID laws might be hilarious -- since it reeks of your desperation to act like you have a coherent position -- but your dishonesty doesn't change anything.

Best of luck figuring out why the overwhelming hypermajority of Black people support Democrats. Hint: Your racist infantilization of Black people might have something to do with it.

Assliana, still running with the "But Russia" line when it's been proven to be a lie, over and over again.

How is requiring an ID to vote racist?

Your wishes don't change history. The Confederacy also lost, FYI, just in case you got confused about that aspect of history, too.

The Confederacy was a racist Democrat state.

Now, here are some interesting articles including one with the facts about the Georgia election and why voter ID is not racist. BTW, over 75% of all Americans support voter ID and 46 of 47 European countries have voter ID laws and 74% of European countries ban absentee voting because of the risk of fraud. Are they all racist too?
