Although it pains me to say so, I think you are correct. There were interesting and surprising answers in the debate that I would normally want to discuss, such as Trump's specific denial of the NYT story about his taxes or Biden's explicit nonanswer on court packing. But Trump's behavior was so disgraceful and undignified that I am still in shock. I think I might have PTSD. Do I need a therapist for that, or will it go away on its own?
As PB said, Trump could have won the debate if he had treated Biden kindly. Instead, Trump completely blew it. He blew it worse than any presidential candidate, both incumbent and challenger, has ever blown a debate. Andrew Sullivan wrote on Twitter, "Biden was ineffectual. Trump was monstrous." That sounds right to me.
Peaceful transition? Trump should concede now. That would be peaceful. I hope Biden brings experienced advisers to his administration in January.

I heard Trump promised to name both the KKK and Antifa as terrorist groups. I guess there must be bad people on both sides. But he hasn't done it yet. To save everybody a lot of trouble, he could do it at the same time he announces his health plan or releases his tax returns.

The Commission on Presidential Debates sponsors televised debates for the benefit of the American electorate. Last night’s debate made clear that additional structure should be added to the format of the remaining debates to ensure a more orderly discussion of the issues. The CPD will be carefully considering the changes that it will adopt and will announce those measures shortly. The Commission is grateful to Chris Wallace for the professionalism and skill he brought to last night’s debate and intends to ensure that additional tools to maintain order are in place for the remaining debates.

They should use a cone of silence to ensure that nobody speaks when it is not his time.
Trump: He called the military "Stupid bastards"
Biden: "That's a lie, play it."
