Same. He had a good gameplan, stick to a small number of topics and let Trump rek himself.

Trump lost it though, Biden didn't win.

He did better than I expected, but I was honestly waiting for him to just stop mid sentence with a blank look on his face for 15+ seconds so I wasn't expecting much to begin with.

What in the last 5 years made you guys think things would be different tonight? Jesus Christ.

I definetly wouldn't call either of them a winner either

I was hoping Wallace would not be such an ass and would try a bit harder to be more balanced than he was. I didn't expect it but one can hope.

Trump was Trump, Biden was jacked up on something so much that he almost appeared like a human and Wallace was a shit. I wonder how many days Biden will be a no show in the campaign follow up this performance. I also wonder how much spin control will be forth coming with him backing off the Green New Deal and with the Paris accords and so on.

Trump had a lot more to lose than Biden in this debate, and that's exactly what he did. He never made a cogent argument in defense of his record, he refused to condemn white supremacy, he refused to say he'd respect the election results, and he came off like an angry and rude jerk for the entire night.

Biden stumbled over his words a lot more than I would have liked, but he had some powerful moments when he was speaking to the camera about the effects of Covid, on his support in general for the police, on taxes, and on climate change. I think he was speaking for many people in the country over the last few years when he quipped, "Will you just shut up, man?"

It was a complete wreck overall, but Trump didn't do anything tonight that will make up for what he's trailing by in the polls.

Trump won tonight's debate, he made Joe further alienate the progressive left.

You Democrats really are something else. For months violent leftists have been openly rioting in the streets and attacking police officers while Democrats turn a blind eye to the violence (and Biden even said he wants to defund the police!) and Trump has been on the police's side throughout this entire time and his entire presidency, and you have the nerve to say Biden generally supports the police?

The only thing the Democrat party is good for these days is to gaslight the shit out of everyone.

    That isn't a good thing.

So I'm still watching the debate and Wallace is just the worst.

"Mr. President, please let him finish! It's his turn!"
    Biden interrupts during Trump's turn.
"Mr. President, please let him finish!"

    Like what the fuck?

Honestly I think Don Lemon would have been a more impartial moderator. Who the fuck let Wallace anywhere near the debate stage? He should be at a McDonald's somewhere getting me a large coke.
