I can't speak for anyone else, but I've generally been against the most extreme radicals and infiltrative elements trying to incite sedition -- at this point, however, given how poorly things have been handled (constant escalation instead of de-escalation), I'm guessing the protests aren't going to remain "mostly peaceful" here for long.

I am blaming the police. I have blamed the police. The police are largely at fault here, specifically the tactics they've used which have caused escalation (negative result) rather than de-escalation (optimal result)... that's how blame works. I'm not saying that this is universally applicable, but it's been the majority here.

Blame -- in the sense that you're clumsily attempting to use it -- as a concept only conveys a negative connotation if the inaccuracy of its application is obvious.
