"We can take care of ourselves!" - Teenager moving into a tent on the lawn with their buddies

That 'settlement' is hilarious to watch.

Yeah, that video was pretty funny. This whole CHAZ thing is dumb. WTF is wrong with people?

Disclaimer: On drugs due to ruptured appendix. I've missed a lot since last Tuesday or so when I started dying in pain.

Die quieter, you're disrupting your neighbors.

Haha, I'll definitely keep that in mind. Or, the neighbors can go fuck themselves because the drugs make me really not care. Either way works for me right now.

What do they have you on, out of curiosity?

Oxycodone orally and Dilaudid in IV. I'm finally on the downhill side, hoping to go home tomorrow. It was likely ruptured for a couple of days before they removed. No signs of other infections so far so very thankful to that.

Also, very grateful to all of the doctors and nurses out there who do their jobs. Nothing political about that, just really appreciate you sincerely. Too messed up to find somewhere better to post that.

Good luck with that. I was off pain meds after I got home (I hate them and have a high pain tolerance) but the thing that absolutely fucking sucked was when you are starting to walk and the gas pains in your abdomen trying to work their way out. That was the worst pain of the entire event.

Thanks man. Been experiencing that too, definitely not fun. Just keeping stuff down and working it through the system is pretty bad. Not a fan of pain meds either and have a high pain tolerance too, but I was dying and in pain for 4 days before the surgery, so I'm enjoying them for now (my tolerance was definitely rolled over), It's just nice not to be in agony for a bit.

This is one of the best things I have seen.

If you have 15 seconds you should watch this video.
