That sounds like bullshit. What the city police don't report to anyone? They are just their own entity but funded by the city? And even if that were true whose fault is that for letting it get that way?

I think it's easier for him to live in that fantasy land than deal with the present reality.

You'd think she'd have learned her lesson about polls after the last election anyway.

I have no love for the Minneapolis city council, but they don't control the police.
So when all these mayors ordered police to stand down and let people riot, the cops were just doing the mayor a favor by following that?

I guess this would also explain why in most cities, the chief of police reports directly to the mayor. Because the mayor has no authority.

Makes total sense. Thanks for enlightening me.

time4trump is incapable of admitting, even to herself, that she could ever be wrong about anything. And if she is wrong, she’s still right, it only looked like she was wrong because reasons.

time4trump is the poster it for narcissism, arrogance, and inhaling one’s own farts. And a plethora of other things that suck ass vomit.

If you've been paying attention you know the power of the police union is oversized in Minneapolis. It's been that way since the early 70s, when the police union president got himself elected mayor. It's a pretty entrenched problem, obviously. Like I said before, I have no love for the City Council in Minneapolis, but this is a very challenging issue. I sympathize with anyone who has to try to fix it.

As for Trump's claim that a 75 year old peace activist from Buffalo was an ANTIFA operative setting up the police, you can claim it's a pivot all you want, but this is the crap that your president buys into. Time and time again he promotes this sort of garbage, and it makes his judgement look pretty questionable.

Much like the "evidence" produced by the global warming alarmists who use the end of the Little Ice Age to start their graphs.

I'd say you are brain washed.. but you're missing one key ingredient for that to actually happen.

If the union is so powerful that they are literally unaccountable to anyone, including the city government that funds them, then that sounds like a failure on the part of city leadership, which happens to be dominated by Democrats.

The pivot was you first claiming it was literally impossible for him to be an Antifa member due to his membership in other groups then when I pointed out that an Air Force (non) officer who ambushed and murdered a police officer was part of the Antifa defund the police movement you then moved to the 75 year old man faking bleeding from the ears.
