Rioters, my bad, "protesters", have now taken over Seattle City Hall.

Seems like just yesterday people on this very forum were still crying because a couple dozen armed protesters "stormed" the Michigan capitol building, but now that hundreds of rioters have taken over the Seattle City Hall I have a strange feeling we won't hear from those same people.

Just when I thought Trump couldn't latch onto anything dumber, he claims the 65 year old man that the cops in Buffalo knocked over is Antifa. The guy is a Catholic Worker volunteer, and long time peace activist.

None of those things are mutually exclusive.

The Mayor of Buffalo is saying the guy was up to no good too.

Not saying that excuses the police's behavior of shoving an old man, but the absolute bullshit being made up for him is pretty astounding. The original story was he walked up to them to give them their helmet back, which on the face of it doesn't make any sense at all, people are now saying that was his helmet.

“The crowd was loud but peaceful, and at no point did I feel in danger, and I was standing right there in the front of the line,” he said. “A lot of us are still struggling to process this, but in a lot of ways, I believe I saw civil rights being violated in order for a photo op.

But he said a moment he would remember was when a man who had hit him with a brick the first day approached him a few days later to apologize.

So weird. Almost as if even members of the National Guard are politicizing the shit out of this and the media is all too happy to allow them, even if it means contradicting statements within the same article.

TV show "Cops" has been canceled. Also another similar show has been canceled.

I see the outraged left is following through with their threat to cancel all cop shows and movies. I can't wait for "Brooklyn 99" to be canceled since after Fox dropped the show people cried that it was unfair since it was such a "diverse" show. Because one thing is for sure, I only watch TV shows for their diversity, not for silly things like comedy or good writing or anything.

Also HBO is dropping "Gone with the Wind." The left won't be happy until only garbage from the year 2010 and onward is allowed to be on TV or in libraries.

I sure hope Democrats get the book "1984" banned throughout the US, that's just the irony we need right now.

Actually, and not that I would expect you to know or understand, but Trump in 2016 ran his platform addressed to exactly those who were common, struggling, and living in inner-American communities ravaged by the scourge of premature globalization. His rallies, everyday, were in disenfranchised communities, down the street from boarded up factories, shuttered main streets, and families fractured by opioid abuse, all ignored by the coastal, big city left that would discard their existence as 'fly-over states' simply because the color palette doesn't line up with their not-so-inclusive ideals.
