This is an actual conversation between an MSNBC host and the Minneapolis city council president:

CAMEROTA: "What if in the middle of the night my home is broken into. Who do I call?"

BENDER: "Yes, I hear that loud and clear from a lot of my neighbors. And I know — and myself, too, and I know that that comes from a place of privilege. Because for those of us for whom the system is working, I think we need to step back and imagine what it would feel like to already live in that reality where calling the police may mean more harm is done."
This is what you get when you vote Democrat. Calling the police when someone is breaking into your home is now considered being PRIVILEGED. So the city council is disbanding their police force so us "privileged" people can step back and imagine what it feels like to live in a world where calling the police makes things worse.

Yes that's right. She's basically saying she wants to disband the police force so "privileged" people can know what it's like to live in fear. Right there. But you fuckers will continue voting Democrat anyways because Trump is dumb right?

Yup. New daily deaths from the virus (anyone remember that's still a thing?) yesterday was 373. The Democrats needed a new crisis to shit on Trump over and they found it in a police officer in a city 100% ran by Democrats, in a state ran by Democrats, and a Democrat senator who had the chance to do something about the same police officer before she became a senator. But this is somehow Trump's fault!

    He's a gigantic hypocrite.

He sent me red rep out of the blue (never heard of him before he "woke" like a week ago) and preached that we shouldn't be insulting people. When I called him out, he "apologized".. which suddenly makes it ok.

If he keeps up this pace, he will be next in line for time4fun's title... especially if Seran refuses to fight for a rematch.

Yes, Democrats are sooo scared about a 500 respondent digital poll showing such large number strongly disapproving of the President.

Just wait until the BLM crowd hears that Biden doesn't support the defund police movement. His support about to take a nose dive unless the media goes into overtime to cover up his statement or finds a way to defend Biden for not supporting the defund police movement while at the same time attacking Trump for having the same stance.

I'm just curious what it's going to take for you to realize that Democrats don't have your best interests at heart and for you to stop voting Democrat?

Is the city council going to have to knock on your door armed with guns and literally steal all of your possessions at gunpoint before you finally realize maybe Democrats aren't the party you should be supporting? Or would you still say "Still not as bad as Orange Man!"

You all keep saying we shouldn't support Trump because he says stupid shit, but that's just it, he SAYS stupid shit. Democrats are actively DOING stupid shit while holding positions of power to make that stupid shit happen.
How do you get "meh, shit happens" from me stating import facts that you would presumably want to know? I thought you would appreciate some facts on the ground, from someone who has had personal experience with the Minneapolis City Council.

Not to mention I stated pretty clearly that thought this was a bad idea. But keep trying to drum up... something.

Saying the city council has been trying to get more power for years now doesn't exactly sound like a good defense to this.

"Yeah sure they are trying to dismantle the police department. It's just a power play!" That's your counterpoint?

You then say they can't get rid of the police department because of the charter. Even assuming they follow the charter just the fact that they voted to disband the police force should be enough to cause you some concern, but instead you're like "Naww, the charter will save us!"

And finally I didn't ask you if you thought it was a bad idea, I asked what is it going to take to get you to realize that this shit is dangerous and this is no longer some fringe element within the Democrat party but sitting Democrats with actual power are now supporting this shit and voting on it? When do you realize enough is enough? Because let's face it you're gonna vote down ballot Democrat anyways even though your party is pushing some seriously danger shit right now.

Pelosi was asked about the defund the police movement today and she refused to answer. It should be a no brainer: "That's the dumbest shit I've ever heard." But no. Democrats are either going all in or they refuse to condemn this outrageous idea. Biden says he's against the movement but something tells me within the next couple of weeks he was slightly walk back this statement and support it in some sense.

The idea of dismantling police departments is so far out there that it's not even a political policy, it's just anarchy, and it's being pushed by YOUR party.

I'm neither defending the city council or providing a counterpoint. I provided information to those i thought would be interested. You're not interested, so noted.
