So ultra-leftist Michael Moore released his latest documentary and, lo and behold, it is completely ignored by everyone on the left. Wonder why that is? Well, turns out, it is all about the fact that "renewable energy" isn't, and is in fact 100% bullshit. And that all the big tech firms that are "going green" are flat out lying about it. Again, this is Michael Moore saying this, not some right wing nut-job climate denier, but Michael Moore.

The resounding response from the "Go Green" crowd? Crickets. But hey, watch it yourself.

Not sure what you mean by "it is completely ignored by everyone on the left" or who you even consider "left", and "the resounding response..Crickets". A simple Google News search brings up dozens of articles over the past few weeks regarding the film.

I'm a Democrat and I think it's important for us to pursue renewable energy. It's a simple equation really: Eventually the demand for fossil fuels will deplete reserves. Whether that happens in 100 years or 1000 years. But I also think it's important to point out flaws in current technologies and methodologies. While I didn't watch the film, I read several of the articles about it. Sounds like there are some flaws in the way the subject matter ignored other aspects of renewable energy and it's importance. But it also doesn't say much about the importance of not only relying on renewable energy to combat climate change.

Here was a good article on why trying to suppress the film is a bad idea: https://www.forbes.com/sites/robertb.../#1ca11d21e0ac

Here is an article that talks about a lot of the shortcomings of the film with citations of studies to back up claims: https://www.sciencenews.org/article/...newable-energy

When automobiles were first being invented, I'm sure there were a bunch of people then that criticized the industry for one thing or another. But look at where we are today. Should the people inventing automobiles then have just said "forget it" and stop what they were doing?

Per the usual, I'm sure the answer lies somewhere in the middle of continuing to rely on fossil fuels while working towards better technologies of renewable energy, not simply demonizing one extreme side or the other. And having robust debate is all part of driving toward that goal.

It is an amazing time when I no longer consider Michael Moore to be a radical leftist and see him as more moderate.

Obviously the Stay at Home orders were made to cut emissions to stop that.

Makes sense, since now that global warming is fixed, CNN has decided that Greta is a Coronavirus expert.

That seriously makes no sense. She'll have a prepared statement and then just agree with everyone else for the rest of the segment.

I hate to say it but Trump is looking sickly here. He also says he's taking hydroxychloroquine as a precaution even though he says he's not sick and wasn't exposed to anyone.

I'm thinking he's either sick (either with the Wuhan virus or something else), or the pressure of being president has finally affected his appearance like it has all past presidents, although Trump has looked the same up until this video.

His hair looks thinning, his skin looks more pale. Although he sounds fine. I wonder...

Could be a few nights of bad sleep too with everything that's going on.
