A family of Mormons (who were American citizens) were slaughtered in Mexico yesterday by a cartel, the cartel ambushed them and killed several women and children then kidnapped whoever they didn't kill.
Pretty horrible shit right? Surely every American news outlet can just print up a story stating how horrible the situation is and how Mexico needs to do something about the cartels.
Well...you would think that...but here is how the NYT decided to report on the story:

People are killed all over the world everyday. Hell, Chicago has like 30 a week. Why would we give two shits about murders in another country? We can't even manage it here. It's a horrible story, yes. Horrible shit happens every day right here in America, lets get our shit straight before we rush to another country to fight a war that won't ever end (the drug "war").

Looks like Anal Lee got nuked wonder how long before he/she is back under yet another name.
I would hope if they report on stories of innocent people being murdered by gang violence in Chicago they would focus the report on the problem of gang violence in the city and not make the story about the victim's religion and what sort of shit they practice when the victim's religion has absolutely nothing to do with the murder.
