All that said, I've got two sweet kale chopped kit salads in the produce drawer. I'm questioning all my life decisions now.

Post post script - Trump isn't looking out for white people at all.

    He's looking out for himself.

I just happen to be in a profession that can leech off of his grift.

I don't hate myself at all. I worked my ass off to get where I am.

I think privilege is mostly economic. I'm grateful that my kids will start from the top of the mountain instead of where I started. I don't think it's fair, and I think we'd all be better off if we didn't systemically reward economic privilege, but I'm not going to sabotage my kids to right a wrong system.
What assumptions? You've already hinted at racial inequalities because of Trump just earlier today, and you said Trump is only looking after people like you. You also talk about "white trash" and how you wish more of them were dead, hence your virtue signaling. About the only thing I've assumed is who you support for president. Who do you support so far for 2020?

I'm sorry I shattered your simple world view

    Seriously.

I feel like I'm lapping the field.

Is anyone awake or is Tgo01 going to have to wear the mantle?

But because I have no reason to dislike you Tgo01 and I sense your sincerity, gun to my head I'm going Bae Warren, Mayor Pete, and the field.

I really respect Warren's work on behalf of the working class. I think she has the selflessness to be a great President.

I'd vote Bernie over Trump, but it would be a de facto protest vote.

You gotta work on your wokeness then. Being glad to see white people die is only gonna get you so many woke points.

Thanks for the laugh about Warren though.

I don't know much about Bae Warren, and Pete's whole schtick seems to be to attack Pence for no reason other than because he's Christian, calling Trump a traitor and a dictator at every turn, spending trillions of dollars buying votes, virtue signaling for the black vote, and oh yeah, he's gay.

But to be fair I don't think he's ever cheered for a hurricane to go down a particular path so as to hit as many people who don't vote blue as possible. So at least he has that going for him.

Sorry I didn't fit your prejudices of a liberal voter.

Hopefully you take stock of your economic situation and consider what is actually in your best interests.

I think you'll find Elizabeth Warren is an able advocate for the lower middle class.

It's not my "prejudices" of a liberal voter. It's the shit you said, such as; hoping for the death of "white trash", claiming Trump is a racist, blaming poor rednecks in the south for climate change, claiming you are doing well because you're a white male (although later you walk this back and chalk it up to your hard work), and talk about how your children will have innate "privilege" because they are white. It's like you virtue signal as much as any other far leftist but you don't want to admit that's what you're doing.

Or maybe it's just because you don't want to admit I'm right. I'm going with that one.

Oh yeah, another far left talking point, telling people what is in their best interest because clearly people don't know what is in their best interests without the help of a wealthy white liberal who literally would be happy if they died telling them.

But I appreciate your well wishes.
You should use those extra benefits and distribute them to the needy as you see fit. That's the awesomeness of capitalism, you get to choose how to benefit others with the rewards of your hard work. Sadly, you act as if you're incapable of helping others without the government having a hand in it. I suggest the United Way, of course the choice is yours as to who you wish to help, I assure you that you will feel less bitter.
