    If a party has a platform that resonates with more people, regardless of their income, education, location, or any other factor, then that party should win in a democracy.

    That argument does not make sense. The way the electoral college works now was changed from how it was originally written. We can, and hopefully will, change it again.

    The only thing I see that was changed was that the person with the most electoral votes became president and the other became vice president. That means Hillary still wouldn't be president.

    They didn't change how the President was elected, just the Vice President, because it didn't make sense to have competing parties in the Executive Branch. It is pretty common for you to ignore the why. You can't figure out why the Electoral College exists as it does, you just want it changed because your person lost.

    Fact is, it is never going to be changed. You will never get the needed number of states to ratify an amendment.
