Nah it's about time the Left was actually Left. There are things they say that I disagree with or think they should tone down/rework but in general I'm for a leftward push. I think we talked about this before.

Yeah but Democrats haven't just had a leftward push, they have gone really far left in a shockingly short amount of time. Late term abortions, post birth abortions, talks of gun confiscation, pushes for hard core socialism, straight white males are the devil, pushing for ex-ISIS members to be welcomed back into the country, pushing for a Green New Deal that would require the government to pretty much seize control of the entire economy and of our lives, reparations for people who have never been slaves nor have ever known a slave.
And this isn't just some fringe talk anymore where we could say "Yeah but those are the crazies, no one listens to them." These are things either prominent Democrats in congress support, Democrat presidential candidates support, Democrat ran state governments have passed or support, or in some cases all 3. I guess it makes sense if these are things you agree with, but you never struck me as that type of Democrat. I could also understand if you're like "Yeah I don't agree with those things but I agree with the other things they are pushing for" except so far they haven't really pushed for anything else.

Or....and I'm going out on a limb here because this is going to sound just ccrraaaazy....maybe the news you read is only the most shocking and headline-grabbing, because "Centrist Democrat makes middle of the road comment" doesn't get as many clicks as "DEMOCRATS WANT TO KILL YOUR BABIES AND EAT THEM AT THEIR COMMUNIST BARBECUES!".
You, as someone far on the other side of the political spectrum, seek out those stories, and there are plenty, because as I said, the other kind are boring and don't get printed as much. Unless you're claiming now that the news is fair and balanced and represents the majority without bias.
Yes, there has been a left shift in the younger democrats recently, but it's because the left has been far more centrist than left for the last good while.
Edit to add: Just as a quick example, how many news stories did you read about Gottheimer praising Trump or criticizing the Affordable Care Act? My guess is zero.

Well, sure. Name for me some things Democrat presidential candidates have pushed for so far that isn't something I already named or isn't equally as insane.
No I don't. I read the news, from a variety of sources, and these are the stories that populate the headlines. When the media isn't slandering kids who attend a Catholic school, pushing obviously fake hate crime hoaxes such as Jussie Smollett's, they are pushing far left bullshit spewing out of Cortez's mouth, as well as from the mouths of Ilhan Omar, Pelosi, Kamala Harris, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and the rest of the far left crazies. Sure there a few moderate Democrats in congress, almost all of which come from swing districts who can't really risk going too far left because they'll be out of a job soon. But almost all of the entrenched Democrats, or ones who come from safely blue districts, are all spewing far left wing shit lately. The only exception would be Cortez's idea of the Green New Deal, where there is some resistance from Democrats, but all of the big names running for president have backed it.
