Yeah, I read it. I would call that constructive criticism and thats always welcome rather than shooting it down outright.

This plan is one of the most ambitious plans put forward. Its going to take a lot of time and effort to hammer it all out but I think the goals are worth the effort. We really need to free ourselves from oil.

Pelosi is too afraid to directly confront Omar's anti-semitic remarks so instead the idea was to pass through a bill (ideally with 100% support from Democrats) to let people know that Democrats think anti-semitism is bad! Not bad enough to specifically condemn the behavior of a Democrat in congress, but it's still bad!

This rubbed some Democrats the wrong way because they feel Omar was being treated unfairly, because you know people say mean things about her too so it's only fair that she in turn can say anti-semitic shit. So Pelosi updated the bill to include condemning hatred towards blacks and Muslims, because Omar is a black Muslim, in the hopes that more Democrats would get on board so they could let people know that they think anti-semitism is bad! Not bad enough that they could push through a clean bill that condemns anti-semitism, but it's still bad!

And yes, it's a very ambitious plan.. which requires a great deal of money. So we need to agree with a starting point of how much money we're talking about if we're ever going to figure out to pay for it.

I'm still comfortable with the $75 trillion dollar mark.. it basically puts the pricetag right down the middle of the high and low estimates.

If you're comfortable with $7.5 trillion dollars a year, then we can begin the math. Let me know.

So apparently Democrat Latinos were feeling left out of this legislation so they added that language to the bill as well. They have also added language regarding LGBTQ, Asians, Pacific Islanders, Native Americans, Hindus, Sikhs, and immigrants.

Might as well just rewrite the bill to read "We condemn ALL hatred...except those against straight people, whites, and Christians."
