I'd rather see a video of the incident. It was probably a polite chuckle and not a OMG YOU'RE SO RETARDED laugh like you are thinking it is. That is, if there even was any laughter.

Plus, you're showing your complete insistence to call Trump wrong by saying he didn't know wtf he was talking about... When he 100% was correct on what a MOU is.

Didn't really seem like he was laughing AT them, more like he was just having fun at the situation.

The article you quoted made it sound like the guy was laughing at Trump for not understanding what an MOU is. But people are going to see what they want to see.

Video is the second video they have in that article. He does laugh and it sounds like he says "Okay" but it doesn't really sound like he's laughing at Trump for not understanding. This reminds me of the time the first lady of Poland TOTALLY SNUBBED THE PRESIDENT!!!1111! by refusing to shake his hand and the media shared an edited clip that made it look like just that, when if they just left the next 2 seconds of the clip in place it would show she did indeed shake Trump's hand.

It started when Trump was asked by a reporter how long “memorandums of understanding” being negotiated with China over trade disputes would last.

Trump shot back: “I don’t like MOUs because they don’t mean anything.”

Lighthizer calmly corrected the president, and turned to explain to reporters: “An MOU is a contract. It’s the way trade agreements are generally [established]. It’s an actual contract between the two parties. A memo of understanding is a binding agreement.”

He added: “It’s detailed, it covers everything. ... It’s a legal term; it’s a contract.”

“I disagree,” said a scowling Trump, causing top Chinese negotiator Vice Premier Liu He to laugh. “A memorandum of understanding is exactly that: It’s a memorandum of what our understanding is,” he said, circling his hands in the air. “How long will that take to put into a ... contract?”

Watch the video for yourself. Shouldn't be hard to find. This isn't a thread where I'm arguing anything - simply laughing at the mastermind behind, "the art of the deal".

But I mean, he wants a firm obligation, not a gentleman's agreement. I'd say he us doing exactly what he should be doing there.

I found it. It's no where near what you think it is.

Then again, I'm not infected with TDS.. so there's that.

Eric Swalwell, the representative from California who just the other day posted on Twitter about his heroic efforts to brave a snowstorm to find coffee and decided not to go to the closet coffee shop because it was in Trump tower, is thinking about a presidential run.

So he decided to do what all of the hip cool kids are doing these days, livestream a Q&A session. Apparently the most concurrent viewers his livestream received was 21 and a reporter from CNN mentioned at one point that he must have been the only person still watching because the viewer count said 1.

The Democrat clown car is getting bigger and sadder.

People pointed out there were about 7 or 8 coffee shops within a block of him too.
