Democrats have assured me that voter fraud is nearly impossible in this country and shouldn't do anything about it. Are Democrats now recognizing that voter fraud is possible and that we need voter ID? Or is this yet another case of Democrats talking out of their assholes?

I've said before that voter fraud is far more likely with absentee ballots/early voting, because you can commit it in the comfort of your own home. What they suspect happened here it's not really voter fraud, it's vote theft. I wonder what the penalty for stealing ballots is?

As an interesting side note, there's another, much smaller contested race in Iowa, where election officials refused to count 35 ballots in a state election only separated by 9 votes, because they were absentee but didn't have post marks. They did however have postal bar codes, which contain the same information, and are specifically allowed as evidence of mail in date. So says a judge, and those votes will now be counted.

Of course they're not the same thing, you just explained the difference. But it's still voter fraud. Voter fraud encompasses more than just filling out a ballot.

The best they can hope for is 1)make Trump's life difficult/unpleasant and 2)stall the GOP as much as possible for the next two years while praying that by some miracle whatever loser emerges from their clowncar of 2020 hopefuls manages to pull off the W.
