    2) In California, nearly everyone can vote by mail at any time, and as long as the ballot is postmarked by Election Day, it is still valid. This means voters can mail in a ballot on Election Day and that ballot likely won’t get counted for-you guessed it, a week and a half.

    3) Republicans usually vote early or on time. Democrats tend to procrastinate.

    4) There wasn’t a recount in Young Kim’s district.

    5) It sucks. It’s stupid. But it happened. And it is not outside the realm of possibility.

So since I was there, and I worked it, and I saw it first hand, those are my thoughts."
Yeah this is all correct. (Though, interestingly enough, in other states it's often the opposite in terms of whose votes get in when)

And we may as well just get used to it. Voting by mail is becoming more and more popular, which not only means that the timeline for knowing how these races are going is getting extended, but it's also harder and harder to predict how many ballots we'll actually get.

I thought early voting tends to help Democrats and absentee voting tends to help Republicans.

See what I mean? Seems odd that in 49 out of 50 states early voting tends to help Democrats but absentee voting tends to help Republicans, yet in California it's the exact opposite. Does everything have to be backwards in California?

It depends on the location. A heavily democrat leaning area, not so much. Republican leaning, you'll usually have big Democrat pushes to bus people to polling locations and such.

Voting by mail should be abolished. How can you take any step to assure that it isn't being done fraudulently? Really?

I'd say probably by having each ballot tied to a voter? They don't just mail a letter and say "I vote for this d00d." They are all barcoded and shit. All absentee ballots are by mail.

40 House seats for Dems and now GOP election fraud uncovered in NC.

In terms of total votes, Democrats have cemented the largest margin of victory in midterm election history — some 9 million votes over Republicans, breaking a record set after the Watergate scandal in 1974.

There’s still one more undetermined House race: in North Carolina’s 9th District, Republican Mark Harris’s 905-vote margin over Democrat Dan McCready has not been certified as election officials try to determine if the race was tainted by election fraud.

Democrats have assured me that voter fraud is nearly impossible in this country and shouldn't do anything about it. Are Democrats now recognizing that voter fraud is possible and that we need voter ID? Or is this yet another case of Democrats talking out of their assholes?
