I'm ready to admit that if people were so concerned about a sitting President threatening to force anyone to do something that violates their rights, there are methods and counters to stop them. However, holding someone to accountability is not the same as silencing dissent to look palatable.

I've said my piece on it before and only a few people can appear to wrap their heads around me not wanting media silence but rather media accountability.

Uh sweetie- PB did the same thing to me. I posted the hilarious records of him leaving angry neg rep on posts that were like 8 months old long after he thought I was gone.

Apparently I wasn't the only one, and yeah- we had a great time laughing about it. Because it's just so sad.

So if there are mechanisms against something, it's okay to threaten to do it?

So is it okay to threaten to murder people to try to force them to do what you want?

I can wrap my head around media accountability I think we just have different definitions for that.

Threats are idle. Actions are not. Speaking of which.

If you feel a threat is credible, go to the authorities immediately. Don't wait for the idea or perpetrator to evolve their methods until you're satisfied with the level of threat to call the authorities.

    Give me your definition.

I think the argument here would be that a sitting President demanding that media be more favorable towards him is the literal opposite of accountability.

Or his comments on media licenses.

Speaking of accountability- can anyone name a single time that Trump screwed up and took responsibility for it?

His Helsinki double negative faux pas

I don't see it as a demand. Can't speak for him or anyone else, but I don't think it's a demand for more bias media attention that's favorable to him. He'd like it, but it's ultimately not up to him to decide.
