You've seen the way these people keep closing ranks around him no matter how many times he lies to them and how many crimes it becomes increasingly clear he's committed.

He's counting on that to continue. It might. But what he keeps ignoring is the generic Congressional ballot. Even people who somewhat support him increasingly support the idea of a Democratic Congress to provide a check on him.

And that's what will end up sending him down in flames. He's six months of open hearings away from imploding and taking the GOP with him.
