Amazingly, you can have both lich AND be tuned to global ESP.

Yes. For the three hours I had lich, I was also tuned to global ESP. It's pretty amazing.

ESP IGNORE GLOBAL will toggle whether you can hear the channel, but to tune to it you need to ESP DEFINE GLOBAL.
I always have the amunet on Global, you can hear all the other channels (Local, House, etc) from there. However, to respond to a non-global channel thought you must change/define to that channel.

Honestly, I'd keep the amunet on all the time if one of two things happened:
1) They made crystal amulets and amulet holders NON-FUNCTIONAL so I could wear them with enhancives.
2) Made crystal amulet holders pin-worn (yes, I know house pins work but I don't wear mine.)

I'll stick to Lich. I'm on Teras, there's never GM interaction here, so I'm not missing much.

The point of this thread is you should tune (or at least know HOW to tune) to global ESP. The arguments over lich vs amunet are meaningless as it's not a competition, nobody is asking anybody to choose ESP over lich.
