Thread: Russia Investigation Heating Up

    1) For both Jared Kushner and Trump's son Donald Jr., by virtue of his eventual disclosures on Twitter attempting to pre-empt the story in the NYT. People openly representing themselves as agents of Russia offered to meet with the Trump campaign, and they eagerly accepted, then misrepresented (i.e., lied) about the purpose of the meeting. Don Jr. lied repeatedly, first denying any memory of any arranged meetings, then obfuscating what they were about. Then Trump himself lied about his involvement in drafting the nonsensical explanations (which you undoubtedly bought, "hook, line and sinker") before that too was revealed as a lie, i.e., playing Trump believers as monkeys who will believe literally anything their cheetoh-in-chief claims.

    2) Paul Manafort and Robert Gates were in repeated contact with Konstantin Kilimnik, who has "ongoing ties to Russian intelligence." Gates has now been convicted of conspiracy against the United States, and lying to the FBI, about those meetings and obfuscating their nature.

    3) Sessions lied, under oath, claiming he'd had no meetings with Russian officials. Subsequently, he was exposed as having had at least two clandestine meetings with Russian ambassador Kislyak, and his subequent lie changed to "Oh, well, those were in my official capacity as a senator -- not as part of the campaign team." Subequently, he was exposed for having a third clandestine meeting where he discussed the same issue that the Russians were interested in during the Trump Jr. meeting: getting the administration to lift the Magnitsky Act sanctions.

    4) George Papadopolous (who, at one point, Trump stooge David Nunez lied about him never having met Trump -- if only it weren't for those inconvenient photos of them together) repeatedly lied to the FBI about his contacts with Russians, and has now been convicted of lying to the FBI about them. Specifically, Papadopolous claimed that his meetings with a professor known to have Russian government connections happened before his joining the campaign as a senior official (lie)), admitted that the professor had informed him about the Russians having thousands of e-mails containing dirt on Clinton, claimed his interactions with another Russian foreign national regarding the same topic were innocuous (lie), and on and on. https://www.justice.gov/file/1007346/download.

    5) Trump ally Roger Stone repeatedly claimed to have had "no contacts/collusion with Russia", we now know was working with Guccifer 2.0 for Wikileaks' eventual disclosure of the hacked DNC e-mails, and Guccifer 2.0 was subsequently exposed, moving from "suspected front of" to confirmed entity of, Russian Intelligence group, GRU.

The list goes on - but in addition to all the demonstrated links, there's Trump's consistent refusal to criticize Putin and Russia, his extreme reluctance to implement sanctions that were passed virtually unanimously -- in today's political climate, especially compared to his moronic, bombastic rhetoric everywhere else.

There's the fact that the Trump campaign REPEATEDLY called the blizzard of reports of their Russia connections as "fake news." Repeatedly.

All of this has been exposed -- and mysteriously, you have absolutely no problem with either the connections themselves, or the Trump campaign/administration denying (i.e., lying) about those connections, thinking -- accurately -- that you would be retarded enough to continue blindly supporting them despite lying to you about it.

Your total failure to follow the news (and yet remaining very sure of your idiotic, evidence-free position), and your subsequent choice to put your blind support of Trump and the GOP above the nation, reflects solely on you.

Yeah. Just because you only get your news from Tucker Carlson and Rush Limbaugh doesn't mean other people don't actually read the news. Also, you might want to eventually look up what the word "catfish" means, but then again you've circled back to your reliance on evidence-free positions.
When you post, all I hear is "You can't tell me what to do with my uterus!"

    And this:

It's cathartic watching you Trump apologists completely shut down and conceding defeat in the face of evidence you can't refute.

That's what's behind your snowflake ideology: feelings. Your terror of, and inability to deal with, a changing world. It's okay, though: Your kids will view you as small-minded and ignorant as everybody already views their blatantly racist grand/great-grandparents, and you'll be in a grave, a forgotten relic nobody talks about.

Every one of their posts comes across as Alex Jones type rage

    Lordy there are emails!

WSJ has an email from Roger Stone to Sam Nunberg, dated August 4, 2016 in which Stone says, "I dined with Julian Assange last night,”
