The point is that it wasn't a group of people banding together to block a road because they wanted to block it, as you repeatedly try to make it out to be. It was a group of people moving from one place to another, down a street.

Just stop. They could have used the sidewalk like they are supposed to.

Also, as pointed out previously, in Virginia, pedestrians always have the right of way crossing any intersection where the speed limit of the road is less than 35 miles per hour.

Again just stop. Pedestrians having the right of war just means you're not allowed to plow into someone with your car. No shit. It doesn't mean someone can walk in the middle of the road whenever they want, much less hundreds of people at a time clogging the street and impeding traffic.
