You've asked this question a couple time to a few different people, so I'll answer.

In either instance the object used was not 'at fault' the person using it was. However, when speaking about guns specifically, people have a problem with the types of weaponry that can be procured and the relative ease in which you can procure them.

The main difference between a car and a gun in this sense is that a car's main function is not the destruction of something. We as humans have the ability to adapt tools to fit our needs outside their intended purpose. However, the sole purpose of a gun and ammunition is to kill something, hence the problem.

Still an ultimately irrelevant point- they're trying to get you away from the core issue and down a more tenable distraction point (for them).

They were not attacked for being in the street. They were attacked for their beliefs and happened to be in the street at the time.

I count 6 vehicles being corralled by protesters that had no permit to protest. Protesters that had been involved in a day long street melee.
