Tiberius, an incredibly skilled general, tried to imitate the external facing actions of Augustus. He did not realize all the prep work that had to be done behind the scenes to carry them off, because he was not a politician.

Now we have a real estate slash reality TV star. I frown because I think he actually thinks this is the way to be Presidential, and has no ability to recognize his massive incompetence. Doctors aren't plumbers. Generals aren't middle managers. We all of us have a specific skill set, it has to be learned. Will he have time?
