Hey now! Just the other day cwolff posted something that showed in the 50's the Democrats were far left and Republicans were far right. Can Democrats please just explain to me exactly WHEN Democrats became the modern day liberals and Republicans became modern day Hitlers? I thought I had it figured out that it started as a slow process after the civil rights act, but if Democrats were already far left before that then that doesn't make much sense.
