He didn't say Tenlaar believes in God and attends church every Sunday.

Yes. That is what those words imply when you say them. Being wrong doesn't mean that you aren't saying it, and Trump being wrong about all Americans having religious beliefs doesn't mean he isn't saying it. It is not the President's place to "generalize" religious ideals onto the people he is supposed to represent, many of whom do not believe in God.

If he tried to say that I, by being an American, am supposed to hold a belief in ANY creator/god figure, I would have a problem with it. No, I don't want him saying that I'm a Muslim either. Or Jewsih. Or Hindi.
The President should not be publicly declaring religious beliefs for the entire country in sweeping statements. Period. You know I'm right.

He certainly promoted monotheism. And he did mean it literally. He sent this tweet deliberately, it wasn't just saying "god bless America" at the end of a speech. More than that though, we all know what he meant.
Just for the cheap seats: this is gaslighting. He says some shit, everyone knows what he means because of context, and his worshippers tell you, "oh no, he didnt say that. He was speaking lyrically and just meant something else"
