It's about time somebody actually enforced the federal laws outlawing marijuana. We need strong federal government. States can't just do whatever they want.

States should be more or less allowed to do what they want. That's one of the great things about the US. Although it would be tough and not as feasible as it used to be, if my state passes a law that I don't like, there's bound to be some other state in the union I can move to where the majority of the people there don't like that law.

Don't see how he won't. Republicans have a majority in the senate and he just needs a simple majority. The Republican running in Louisiana is going to win to add to that as well.
