Understood. Many immigrants are in fear right now. The best I can say is deportations will not happen as Trump said overnight. It would be impossible with the way our system works. It will take years to overturn the systems we already have in place. I know it's hard to hear but I'm certain everyone is safe from gestapo tactics until the next election. Worry about it if Trump or some surrogate gets elected then.

Also remember there are many if not more "white" people who voted against Trump as displayed by Clinton winning the popular vote.



Again, reversing where we are now is going to take a long time. The progress we have made can not be unmade in a day, a month, a week, or a year. It will take years and it is my belief our progress will not be undone with Trump and Pence.



One thing to remember is that this is a country of freedom of speech, ideas, and opinions. It is also a country that has checks and balances in government so no one person or party can dictate the making, interpretation, or execution of laws. Sometimes progress seems too slow. But time is on it's side.

Trump doesn't have to deport them. That costs money. It's cheaper and easier just to cut their benefits and fine companies who hire them. They'll deport themselves.
