Washington Redskins will NEVER change name

Why would the opinion of Native Americans be more important than the opinion of all Americans, among whom a much larger minority believe the name should change? A name change is inevitable. The current owner of the team will primarily be remembered either as the person who changed the name of the person who refused to change the name. Either way, the name is his legacy.

I don't support the name change bullshit. I would sue the crap out of the NFL if I was a team owner and they wanted to ram this down my throat, or they would pay me a couple billion bucks in lost revenue. I would also sue the gov over the copyright using double jeopardy. You can't go back and retroactively prosecute someone for a crime that wasn't a crime when they did it.

In reality, most of the people who are offended by the Redskins aren't truly offended, they just need something to be in an uproar about to feed their victimhood addiction. If they're not being offended by something, they'll create something to be offended by.

Just change the stupid name and move on already. You wouldn't walk up to a native American and call them a "redskin" to their face (unless you're a complete asshole, I guess?). You can google up tons of links for the Earth being flat, the US never landing on the moon, George W. Bush being the mastermind behind 9/11, the holocaust never happening, etc.
