There is an intermittent high pitched mechanical whining noise coming from something in my house. I may have to burn it down.

I am being told it is the furnace, and there is nothing I can do about it.

My time with my dog Chunk is coming to an end. He isn't able to stand on his own or move about without help. He has long since been diagnosed with hip dysplasia, and has a very large mass on his right shoulder which is limiting the movement of his front leg. He weighs over 90 pounds, so assisting his movement is not an easy task. He has moderate to severe allergies which leaves him constantly itching. The treatment for said allergies is what has caused the large masses which run all throughout his body. At nearly 14 years of age, I'm not sure how long I should let things drag out. I love him very much, but I hate to see him suffer.

Sorry to hear. Prior to putting him down, Webster was struggling with real bad arthritis/hips, but was still enthusiastic about wanting to go on walks & car rides with me.

Another "black lives matter" gone wrong...

    http://www.cnn.com/2016/03/15/us/mar...led/index.html

Black cop killed in crossfire set up by 3 black assailants who attempted to gun-down a police station (prerecorded last will / etc)

nstead, the chief said, Elijah and Malik Ford watched and filmed their brother Michael open fire on officers outside a police station, as well as at an ambulance and random people's cars.

The chaos was preplanned, Stawinski said; before the melee, the three brothers talked and did not expect Michael, 22, to survive.

But the alleged gunman didn't die. Instead, an officer out of uniform who had just arrived at the station "heroically" diverted the gunfire toward himself -- and died in the shootout.
