Internet went out at work at midnight and didn't come on until 2am. Running a dispatch board from memory was fun...

This probably should be in the laugh thread, but your post reminded me of it so it's going here. Anyhow... went to McDonalds the other night while there were some power surges in the area. Nothing big, just a few off and on again surges. These idjits tell me they can't take orders right now because 'their system is down'. What? I ask, "You can't take cash orders?" "Nope. Our system is down." What the fuck? I know credit systems can be a problem, but you don't have a goddamn register or something that can just do simple orders with?

To borrow a line from one Snoop Doggy Dog: What the fuck, McDonalds? Ronald. Whoever the fuck! Fix yo shit, man!

I've never seen anything like that before.

Phone call from Georgia waking me up. Woman claims I have an outstanding bill from ConEd and then proceeds to ask for my SS. "SIR!" 'sir, this is important! "I just need the last 4 of your SS to confirm I have the write (name) at your address!"

What blows my mind is that they would continue to admit to doing stuff like this in the face of the backlash they have received from previous comments regarding Watchdogs and Far Cry games. They have a terrible PR department. It's one thing to do it, it's another come out and openly talk about doing it in an interview with a gaming publication.
