We must not confuse dissent with disloyalty. We must remember always that accusation is not proof and that conviction depends upon evidence and due process of law. We will not walk in fear, one of another. We will not be driven by fear into an age of unreason, if we dig deep in our history and our doctrine, and remember that we are not descended from fearful men. Edward R. Murrow

I almost had to slug an old granny today. Okay not really but still, she pissed me off.

I bought some items at Wal-Mart today that were too big and heavy to put in a bag so I didn't bother having the cashier bag them.

On my way out of the store I noticed a door greeter (and I haven't seen a door greeter at this Wal-Mart in about 5 years) and she looks at me and I can tell she's about to say "Have a nice day" but before she can get it out she looks at my cart and gets this stern expression on her face and says "No. I need to see your receipt. None of those items in your cart is bagged. I need to see your receipt."

Normally when these employees demand to see my receipt I simply say "No" and keep walking but with the way she was flat out insinuating I was stealing these items I didn't even acknowledge her presence.

She then walks up right beside me and starts yelling, practically right into my ear "I need to see your receipt!"

I turned to her, resisting the urge to punch her, and said "No, you don't need to see my receipt." And walked out.

    Bitches! Am I right?!

You had better pay your guild dues before you forget. You are 113 months behind.

It's a car, Tisket. At this point it's more decorative than functional BUT STILL. And I never ride any pedals. My shin muscles are pronounced.

Shocking footage has emerged showing the slaughter of 250 pilot whales in the Faroe Islands. The annual event, known as the grindadráp, sees locals luring the animals to the shore before attacking them with lances and knives.

The brutal scenes were filmed by Sea Shepherd, a non-profit marine conservation society. Five members of the group were arrested while attempting to disrupt the bloody event that has been practiced for centuries.

While I'd much prefer the natives get fat on McDonalds and Burger King, as long as they utilize all parts of the harvested animals, I can't get too worked up over this.
