He's probably being literal; he himself has never sent an email, he just tells an aide what he wants to email and they do it.

That's the thing. It's all on HER servers. Which means It's up to HER what gets turned over. That's not how it's supposed to work. She was a public, government employee at the time; every last government email is government property and a matter of historical record. Period. I don't know whether she's trying to hide anything or not, and frankly it doesn't matter- the rules are in place to maintain transparency. At the very least it just looks suspicious. Follow the damn rules.

I think a lot of people have a problem with it, but here's the rub...

The people who care about this didn't like her to begin with, so that's a wash.

The people who liked her to begin with won't care about this, so that's a wash.

She didn't break any law, so there isn't any recourse in that direction.

Effectively, its a non-issue.
