Oh my gosh all of this is making me freaked that they are going to make me put my cat down. she is super old and little.

I found my cat Ralph when she was a kitten in the gutter, when I was in ninth grade. I was 14. I'm turning 31 this year. She's OLD. And very skinny. I am now worried for my cat. Argh damn you nature. =((

I got ember before my mom died, so either 7, 8 or 9 years old, it was before my brother and his ex broke up and before she went to college. She is 9 years older than me so I think I was probably eight. That means I've had her for fifteen years and she was a rescue so she was already about a year old. I have had the cat in my life longer than my mom was. It will be crushing when she passes.

I'm making lots of pictures of Ralph. When she goes, I'm uploading them onto a digital pictureframe. Not even close to the same, but will be good memories to see.

I've seriously contemplated getting my cat stuffed in a curled up position and just putting her on the end of the couch.

Why yes, Gnome. This IS weird. But I grew up in California. The closest thing we had to animal pelts was our family blanket, Willaby, that is a depiction of a roaring bear.
