So I'm trolling because of a well documented case that actually happened? A case that even a website called "the cannabist" referenced as to why more regulation is coming towards Colorado?

You have people like pk insisting marijuana is safe and cures cancer and shit so when someone says to only take a fifth of a cookie they have probably heard so much "weed is safe as shit!" propaganda that they don't think there is any harm in not following the directions.

No one (except Latrin) ever says aspirin is always safe. No one tells anyone that drinking alcohol and driving is safe and it might even cure your cancer. No one says smoking cigarettes is safe.

Have you not said multiple times that one cannot OD on marijuana in this thread? Have you not tried to downplay the guy going crazy and shooting his wife by harping on the fact that he was on "pain medication"? Was your answer to my question about why the guy jumped off the balcony "Darwin" and not "Cause he OD'ed on marijuana"? Didn't you rail against the idea of not making marijuana look like candy and cookies?

I went over the current regulations in Colorado and all you did was scoff at the lab testing and ID requirements.

Latrin's side of the argument is often mocked for "falling for the propaganda" against a harmless drug while those who say such things usually refuse to believe any negative evidence associated with marijuana use.

I still think marijuana should be legalized but I'm starting to lean away from this whole free for all that people can just enter a pot shop and walk away with 10 pounds of weed. If we're going to get serious about an obviously very serious drug it should have more oversight and regulation than some schmuck working at a pot shop saying "Ddduuudddeee! These cookies are like, potent and shit! Only eat a fifth of a cookie at a time!"

All sorts of laws and regulations. But when it comes to marijuana it's usually "Dude! It's safe! What's the worse that can happen, someone drives 5MPH in the right hand lane? LOL!"

What is the point of carrying on when we're basically in agreement? A bit more oversight of edibles would be useful.
