I don't care if you want to thank god for "watching over you" or whatever, but don't give God the credit that your surgeons and doctors should have. They didn't use prayers to save you, they used fucking science and knowledge and practice and skills.

...
90% of the comments are "We prayed for you!" or "Amen"
so... I'm pretty sure that she means it legitimately.
It isn't that I care that she chooses to thank god, but I feel like a lot of people (within my social circles at least) attribute their successes, and their health recoveries, etc to a deity of some sort, rather than to the advances of modern medicine that helped them, or even their own worth as a person which helped them succeed. When you ignore the fact that you had a wonderful surgeon who was able to help you with minimal invasive work, or that you had a doctor that knew to put you on a medication, or whatever--and attribute your well-being to god instead... idk it bugs me.
I didn't say anything to her, I wouldn't say anything to her, cause that shit isn't my business, still made me frown.

Nah, I like her. She's a nice girl. I'm glad she's okay and I'm glad she has faith in a magical fairy in the sky, I don't have that kind of faith in pretty much anything.
lol. Seriously, impressive.
Mostly, I find it upsetting because I feel like people are becoming more and more stupid, or maybe I'm just noticing it, but srsly, shit is science, not god or magic or anything like that.
