I find it even more ridiculous given that he thinks the food is "delicious".

Despite what he is quoted as saying in the article, it seems like he enjoys doing this and does actively look for it to rub peoples face in it. There is a self satisfied smugness to it that makes me want to throttle him.

Doubtful, it's not on the level of holocaust denial or 9/11 truthy-ism. Besides, he is technically correct, the best (and in this case, most douchey) kind of correct.
