We're not talking about curve balls and broken legs. We're talking about the Earth's climate and whether or not we should fundamentally change how mankind interacts with the globe. When you make statements like this it seriously undermines your credibility.
Does the earth move in a straight line through space? No. Therefore it's a curve ball, or at least a slider. Why else would God slack off after six days? His elbow hurt from all the curveballs. There's no verse in the Bible that suggests otherwise.
Dismiss the comparison if you like, but do you know the mechanics of a curve ball from casual inspection? (And no, "because of the spin" does not count.) If not, why would you think you knew the mechanics of the Earth's climate from the same?
