I did. The only questions I asked were...
This was asking cwolff to prove his claims, I am making no claims with these questions.
I believe this is called a faulty generalization fallacy.

Okay so...cwolff just screams "shill" over and over again without even so much as listening to Moore's comments and when I ask him to provide any sort of evidence for what he is saying then I am engaging in a fallacy because...what now? I can't keep up with this, WB![]()
waywardgs posted proof that Moore's company has received money from some energy companies; not quite the vague "energy company shill" that cwolff initially proclaimed.
The question now is; did Moore's loose relationship with certain energy companies compel him to say what he did in that video?
Of course it's much easier to discredit the other side when all you have to do is scream "shill" over and over again and not back up your facts at all.
The whole global warming movement can be disregarded because Al Gore is a shill for green companies.
I still don't understand what you're getting at Tg or why you're harping on this so much. Can you clearly state your position and provide some quotes so that others know what the fuck you're talking about.
I've already stated what my point is. I think Moore made a lot of sense in that video. The environmental movement has been hijacked by political groups for political purposes and that environmentalists have to be realistic in their goals. You can't say all logging companies are bad because they cut down trees; that's stupid. Likewise you can't say all energy companies are bad because they pollute our planet.
He even said in the video that what we should be doing is finding solutions that minimize the impact on the environment. We shouldn't be declaring all corporations as bad and evil.
And yet throughout this whole bit all you've said is "shill!"
I think I should be asking you this question; what is your point cwolff? What are you trying to say? You have yet to clearly state what your point is about Moore being a shill for energy companies. Why is working with an energy company bad? You haven't expressly stated as much but you've insinuated the hell out of it.
The only one who has provided no clear, concise argument in the past dozen or so pages is you. Provide one. Now.
