"Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must, like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it." - Thomas Paine.
Lightning has killed more Americans in the last forty years than terrorism.
You know.. I have read a number of different articles that have said this now..
http://www.nbcnews.com/health/29-000...ite-2D11690927"The Health and Human Services Department promises to report by mid-December on how many people have managed to sign up for health insurance on the site so far. In October, just 26,000 managed to sign up using the federal website, which is serving 36 states. "
I can't wait to see in like a week what exactly they mean. Are they going to report Nov's numbers, total for Nov and Oct, or are they going to add in December numbers as well to make it look better? Remember when they said they couldn't give real time numbers? They said that's not how things are done? Wana bet they give December numbers?
I found this little gem while doing some research in a discussion with a friend about Walmart and unions...
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/1...n_2220152.html
So.. in 2012 Walmart's 35$ a month plan with 2,750 deductible was bad for lower income people.... but ACA's 100+ a month plan with 6500 deductible is good?"But the company’s plans still leave many workers facing significant financial distress in the event of major illness. Under the new policy, one major offering, the so-called Health Reimbursement Account Plan, costs nonsmoking workers $34.80 a month -- a seemingly affordable sum. Yet it comes with an annual deductible of $2,750, a hefty expense given that half of Walmart’s hourly workforce earns no more than $10 an hour. "
“The packages Walmart is providing for low-income people aren’t offering very much coverage except for catastrophes,” said Linda Blumberg, a senior fellow at the Urban Institute, a left-leaning think tank. “It’s likely they’ll be better off going with a government-sponsored plan.”

Man Gelston is in a great mood lately because of that football thing. He's in such a great mood I bet it won't even upset him that I referred to that football thing as "that football thing."
I doubt it. Auburn by 14.
Ceterum censeo Carthaginem esse delendam
Remember that when Auburn runs all over FSU. Neither Bama, nor Mizzou could stop Auburn's running, and their rush defense was a lot more stout. FSU is going to get hit physically in a way they haven't seen this season.
FSU'll be needing some Obamacare after the game. (SEE? I MADE IT IN TOPIC!)
