No, when I say you are a joke it's a statement of fact, not some fear based attack.

You come flying in with some bullshit you don't even know what your talking about, start denigrating me through gay slurs and calling me stupid, and expect me to do your homework for you.

    Dismissed.

On Wednesday, the Obama administration finally released its first numbers for Obamacare health insurance exchange enrollment dating from October 1 to October 31. The numbers were not pretty: just 106,185 people “selected a Marketplace plan” using the exchanges, after the administration predicted that 494,620 people would do so.

Even the Associated Press was forced to lament the “dismal numbers.” The federal health care exchange signed up less than 27,000 people. Meanwhile, nearly 7 million people are expected to lose the insurance plans President Obama said they could keep. So far, five million have lost their insurance.

The state numbers were far from encouraging. Overall, the states signed up 79,391 people. California led the way with 35,364 people who have selected a plan (as opposed to 1 million who have lost a plan); New York came in second at 16,404 (at least 100,000 New Yorkers have lost their insurance); Washington came in third at 7,091 (290,000 have lost their insurance in Washington); and Kentucky came in at 5,586 (280,000 lost their insurance in Kentucky).

I am sure this will all be fixed in time...hopefully in time for the rest of us not to get fined for not paying into this socialist monstrosity.

Officials at one one of the nation's oldest and most elite historically black colleges are citing the Affordable Care Act (ACA) as the reason they have cancelled a school-wide affordable health care plan they had offered students.

The official website for Bowie State, a Maryland public school less than an hour's drive from Washington D.C., explains that Obamacare's new regulations would force the cost of the the insurance to rise from $50 to $900 a semester.

"The cost of insurance for domestic students will increase to approximately $1800 per year." Tweet This

"Bowie State University has suspended offering health insurance for domestic students for the 2013-2014 academic year," states the school's official website. "Due to new requirements of the Affordable Care Act which will go into effect on January 1, 2014, the cost of insurance for domestic students will increase to approximately $1800 per year."

But if you like your plan, you can keep it. . .

My baseline plan (not the best my employer offered) is going away, my health insurance will increase from 85 a pay period and 31 in HSA to 118 a pay period for the "gold" plan. What do I get for that? Slightly lower deductible, no more co-pay, just co-insurance so I will pay a percentage of EVERYTHING other than preventative care (which is almost nothing). So, over all, my health care costs rise by about 15% per year based on this past year's prices and usage. And that is before you consider the hit to spending due to having to spend post tax cash instead of my previously pre-tax HSA dollars. Even lower plans have the availability to use an HSA but then my co-insurance and deductible double and that is just the "silver" plan. Out of pocket just gets worse and worse and that doesn't include changes in vision and dental. State exchange plans would cost about the same for out of pocket and increase premiums by about 20 bucks.

My employees are getting it worse in the ass and they have kids and families to pay for.

So, where is the "Affordable" in the Affordable Care Act?

I don't, but hey, my Walmart insurance was better than any of the current plans and that was nearly 3 years ago. Old shtick is old.

It's what I figured you'd say, so here's the bit I don't get. Why does your Fortune 500 company have such shitty insurance?

Speak for yourself. I say if a man has a job, no matter what it is, if you try to insult him for it, you are the one who ends up looking bad.
