I know I've been largely absent lately but I needed to say this somewhere. My father was diagnosed with end stage bile duct cancer on Thursday. It is inoperable and not the type of cancer which responds well to chemo. He is 57, and has less than 6 months to live. Jesus.

Ironically, it might mean I'm around the PC more, I'm quitting my job come October and my sister's taking a leave of absence.

On a side note, I randomly thought on Sunday "Maybe I can just break up with him and start posting my tits on the internet." I hate that the PC is that ingrained in my thought processes that I thought of a joke that you fools would have laughed at but no one else. So laugh at it long and hard.

Sorry man... that really, really sucks. Spend as much time with him as you possibly can.

Our best friends mother is going through stage 5 or 4 (whatever the really bad one is) lung cancer right now. She was given 6 months to live back in January and is still doing quite well.. so well she's going on a cruise this month. Just because the doctors say 6 months doesn't make it a fact.

That's absolutely awful. I know I was devastated and my Mom just had heart attacks. I'm really sorry to hear that.

Came back to work and find myself moved into a new office... I haven't even been in here a week and I'm about to choke a bitch... I share with one gal who's the same paygrade as myself and she considers this "Her" office so her rules. The biggest problem I have with this is her issue of leaving the door unlocked for periods of time (door closed but dead bolt set so the door doesn't close all the way) and my issue is I have shit in this office too with quite a few people running around. Some of the people include individuals being removed from our corporation for legal reasons and are just around to do odd jobs until their paperwork processes.

She doesn't see a problem but as I said, I'm about to choke a bitch out...
