Not as silly as you might think considering all the people I have told the story to tell me that they themselves have had the same thing happen. My follow up posts clearly state that I admit to most of the blame and not because some jokers on the PC told me I was.
I've been around here long enough to know how things work. I swear if someone posted in this thread that their dad got cancer someone would post "Well he is stupid for eating all those carcinogens!". Fuck sake.
Sooo it turns out that the old dog we adopted six months ago is terrified of fireworks. We got some doggy downers from the vet for him and have a room we can put him in that is pretty quiet if the windows are closed but, I still feel badly for the old dude.
