Get to the point.
There is no point other than the obvious, which is what do you think this compromise should consist of?
You're saying we have to find a compromise.
I ask you to give an example.
You tell me to get to the point.
Or are you just saying, "We need to make a compromise even though I have no idea what that should be, I just say it because it makes me feel good!"?

There are two sides to a debate. Both sides need to meet in the middle to form a compromise. Each party gives a little to get what they want. Thats elementary. Thats basic. I would think that would be self explanatory. I forget who I am dealing with here.
I don't even know what this compromise is about.
They first asked you: What are we compromising on? You responded with the definition of a comprimise.
Next they asked: Such as? (or, give an example of said compromise) You responded with "Get to the point"
Finally, Candor asked what a compromise was in Candor fashion, and Methais asked again for you to give an example of such a compromise. Your response, which I can't tell who it was directed at, once again defined a compromise. If you are answering Candor's question, I'm surprised you took his post seriously. If you are answering Methais, then for the third time in a row, you responded to a question with an entirely unrelated answer.
I think they just want to know the nature of said compromise, not its definition. What side A gets and what side B gets. Do you have any ideas?
Again, I don't even know what is being compromised. I just find your last few posts very strange.

"Whenever evil wins, it is only by default: by the moral failure of those who evade the fact that there can be no compromise on basic principles."

Compromise among discussions of basic principles usually means that the party seeking it realizes they cannot win and seeks to try and get a little bit now and weasel the rest later. It is a win by rot and decay since the fundamental principle is untenable and unpalatable. Compromise can only truly exist where both parties share a common ground of fundamental principles and beliefs and they seek to serve others with the compromise. The slippery slope is a both a logical fallacy and a social, moral and legal reality.
I asked for neither your Opinion,
your Acceptance
nor your Permission.

Compromise on the issue of gun safety. There are people who want to get rid of guns entirely. There are people who think there are too many restrictions. Where do we meet in the middle so everyone walks away happy or at least not entirely disappointed?
