We will not walk in fear, one of another. We will not be driven by fear into an age of unreason, if we dig deep in our history and our doctrine, and remember that we are not descended from fearful men. Edward R. Murrow

Wouldn't that time be better spent doing something more constructive?

Yeah, god forbid there should be any trivial things like fun in a child's life.

I baked with my kids. One of them has a fundraiser each year selling brightly colored cupcakes (she has artistic talent) to raise funding awareness for a local charity. I've set her loose on the world, she thinks for herself, and thus far has succeeded at her own goals.

    ALL because of baking.

    Cool.

My husband keeps buying me cookbooks. He's such a hopeful dude.

Cupcakes and raising kids are not mutually exclusive, although my cupcake decorations suffers since I have zero artistic talent. Only boring people are bored. I could go on, but I'll shut up now.
Agreed. But we had our own private moment at home and she exchanged valentines with her friends and schoolmates that she actually knows. These retards are not overachieving parents. They spend more time talking about the 5 sitcoms they watch every week than their own children. They seemed disinterested in parenthood entirely until the moment came to impress other parents at a super casual playgroup that meets once every few weeks. It's just a weird weird group of people. I'll admit openly I'm one hundred percent weirded out by women who seem more interested in impressing other parents than raising their children. Yes, fuck those bitches.

My daughter speaks perfect English, Ukrainian, some french and elementary Chinese. This summer she read a whole chapter of Kissinger by herself. I'm just sayin. We don't bake.

Why would your daughter read Kissinger? She has poor taste in literature and/or politics.

Nothing wrong with being open minded and reading from all types of sources.

He was the greatest propagandist this American machine ever churned out. We're still trying to pick apart his lies from the truth, even today. Why not study him? OR SO MY DAUGHTER SAYS.
