After mostly finishing a 25 page paper, I realized I didn't use one of the "approved theories" so I emailed my teacher. Either he's going to let me use what I did, or I have to re-write the paper by tomorrow morning at 8am.

Or you can use what you have and adapt one portion of the paper to reflect the single forgotten theory. No rewrite necessary.
