And no, my mom lives in Boston. I'm staying at La Casa Sol in Quito, not a basement, until I get to Papagayo. I'm really down here for the mountains. I'm hitting a total of 5 peaks, but the only ones that are worth mentioning are Cotopaxi and Chimborazo. The other ones are like 4700m and 5000m and just for acclimitization purposes.

Unless you are a climber, i would recommend Peru and the Inca trail. I took last year off from climbing after spending a month on Denali and owed my girlfriend some vacations. We went to the Dominican, Iceland and Peru. Peru was the best out of all of them and the Inca trail is amazing. Let me know if you want info on it. I would have gone back to Alaska but it's really expensive ($6000 just for the climb) and it's nice to climb elsewhere since i have been to Alaska twice already for climbing.

Email at 11:30p last night. We've got a looming deadline for a client that I spent three days on site with last week. Email says hey we may or may not have promised them some stuff while you were gone, here's 17 action items that we need completed by C.O.B. tomorrow.

I should be able to bang them all out but it means putting any new issues that come in (barring someone's production system being down) on hold and I hate doing that to my customers.
